Hong Kong's Dolphins need help

With only 61 Chinese White Dolphins left it seems incomprehensible that the Hong Kong government has sanctioned a third runway for their airport, knowing full well that the dolphins will be affected by this massive infrastructure change.

The dolphins are also at risk due to massive amounts of boats crossing through their territory.

WILD TIME spoke with independent activists Suzette Ackermann and Jaqueline Lee about the situation in Hong Kong.

Protesting WAZA to end the drive hunts in Taiji / Japan

The World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) would have the power to end the cruel drive hunts in the Japanese fishing village of Taiji. WAZA already condemned the drive hunt methods as early as 2004, yet, to date, there is still no binding initiative by WAZA to end the hunts.

WILD TIME talked to activist Daniel Oliver Jost about a protest that will be happening on March 28th 2014 in front of the WAZA headquarters in Switzerland. Ric O'Berry will also be attending.
